Synopsis

A poignant, high quality, period-drama about a family’s emotionally draining Easter weekend set in 1936, Kansas, during the Great Dustbowl era.

Award winning playwright and writer Sally Nemeth’s [(Law & Order: UK (2009), Law & Order (1990) and The Trials of Rosie O’Neill (1990)] original, L.A. Drama Circle Critics and London Fringe Theatre award-winning stage play Holy Days and its heartfelt story and enduring characters are faithfully recreated in this full length, motion picture produced and beautifully photographed by Don Hamilton with an elegant, original score by Michael Roth and intimately directed by Martin Benson.

Adapted from diary remembrances of the efforts of Robert Owen, a Welsh textile manufacturer, philanthropist and social reformer who exhausted his cotton mill fortune from New Lanark, Scotland envisioning a socialist utopia in America in the 1820’s.
